| Tonight was a lamb chop (the small size) minus a bite for my 3 yr old, small serve of green salad with homemade dressing from olive oil and cherry balsamic vinegar (bought from Bridgetown in country WA). After dinner treat is a jelly snake followed by my cup of earl grey tea in bed.
Edit to add I am four months out. | |

| That does sound confusing! Geoff said we need to learn our fullness signals. And if you keep eating till you feel sick you might be sick, which we also are not ment to do. I would call the girls and get the dietitians number and double check. | |

| Hi fellow sleevers
I went to the dieticain today as starting back at work week, and she was really nice but now that I am home and thinking about it I am confused.
It is day 9, and she suggested I start eating soft chunky food and try and get away from the optifast. She also wanted me to start drinking custard between meals and get more protein and said it was more important than water. By the time I went shoppong and got home, I was exhausted so it is a banana opti with benefibre and banana in it.................whew.
I am so confused as the dr previously said to stick to 3 meals as I had to learn not to eat in between, plus it is taking me all day to eat 3 small meals and drink 300 mls of water.
She also said I should be eating around 200 mls each time and not 100 mls and I asked what if I got full before I got finished, should I stop or keep going, and she said to keep going unless I felt sick.
Am I making sense or have I got my wires crossed.

| I blended up a tin of ravioli with some stock to make a ravioli soup. While it was blending I had 2 spoons of sauce from the pudding I made the family. Now I'm full. So I had pudding sauce for dinner. | |

| Hi All Well tonight I had about a matchbox size piece of lamb cutlet and grape tomato/Basil & feta salad with fig balsamic vinegar (about 3 cherry tomatoes a small fetta cube & chopped basil leaves) and 3 olives. I am 4 weeks post op and doc is happy for me to begin to introduce solids going great but with real food I can only do about 1/2 a cup .....have to take my time and am totally full!!! If I'm eating Mush/Soft food I can eat a little more eg: full tub/cup of yogurt, bowl of soup or 2 scrambled eggs. Really trying to be selective with my food and ensure I am getting the right nutrients. 100.1 kg today | |

| Thanks heaps Kas, I am new at this and never been on a forum before, so really really appreciate the guidance. I ahve just come home from shopping and did buy some cam & cauli so if not too hard will make some tonight. Tell me, how do you manage to eat 3 liquid meals and sip 1 litre of fluid, as I take nearly all day to have the 3 meals and then only end up drinking about 300 mls Disey | |

| Disey - have a look in the recipes section, the cauliflower and Camembert recipe is in there. (post op thread, sticky at the top, liquid stage recipes)
Also make any soups that you can blend with extra stock and then strain them through a sieve, I did pumpkin and also pea and ham as well as cauli!

| Tonight..
A whopper with extra ketchup & extra mayo, without the top part of the bun.
Takes me an hour or so to eat it.
But where there's a will, there's a way.

| Evening all, nearly 9 months out (I think lol) Sat down to eat roast pork with all the trimmings but only managed two mouthfuls of pork & a little bite of carrot :( then had a bowl of Nutri grain half an hour later just so I don't go to bed with an empty tummy! Hate it when I'm really looking forward to a meal then find I can't eat anything! :( | |

2 years plus.
Been at goal for 12 months....added a little weight (10% common and allowed for this).
Tonight I had a woolies bought yogurt and blueberry thing. Should be for brekkie I guess, but it filled me up, had lots of calcium and did the job. Feel better for eating clean...
Deb (whose still at a normal bmi).
