| Last night was spiced mango chicken (a whole chicken, deboned and marinated) cooked in the air fryer. Steamed potatoes, crisped up in the frypan with a little olive oil, garlic and rosemary. And salad. This was my serving, still using a bread and butter plate for meals. My god it was goood. Have leftovers for lunch today :D | |

| Sortof a kebab. A quarter of a lebanese bread, with hommous, cheese, tabouli and a vegie "chicken" strip. Pretty good, actually. | |

| I am 18 months post-sleeve. Last night I had a very small piece of steak (about the size of half my palm) and 3 small (home grown tomatoes straight out of the garden) sliced, sprinkle of grated cheese, small amount of dressing.
The night before that, had a chicken wing with a bit of breast meat and more home grown tomatoes and grated cheese. Later a piece of Christmas cake
Tonight will be omelette and more home grown tomatoes lol YUM, and later probably a tub of yogurt or a piece of that Christmas cake again.

| A weird day. No appetite (I am not complaining, I have to admit, I like this new "me", and I like the new sized me! Maybe a degree of body dysmorphia? Anyway, I'd rather stay at this end of the scales than where I was previously, + I am having reconstructive plastic surgery 4th December). But then I stress on days when I can, and do, eat lots (for what I think is at my stage post-op "OMG! Is the "Honeymoon period" over?"). So, I just guess that I "have to go with the flow". I don't know about the long-term sleevers (say, 18 months out), but I am guessing that at this stage - 10 months post-op - that it is perfectly normal to have this variability from day to day, meal to meal.
I made a quadruple (why, oh why? - Oh! 'cos I thought that 100gm of sunflower seed didn't look much lol!! and that was BEFORE I added anything else!) batch of "Seedy Crackers" c/o "The Real Meal Revolution" today. So just picked at that when the different flavoured trays were cooling, as I had tried different flavourings and toppings to different trays. Incredibly high fibre and ticks all the nutritional panels anyway. (And, the worse part of this? I have a massive pile of dishes to do. And no one to do them, apart from me. *Sob Sob* No dishwasher, no kids, no partner... Ah well, about to bog down and do them! Oh! For me personally, I would much prefer to be kid and partner free! After dishes, all I need to do is go to bed with ereader lol!!)
Anyway, these guys ("Seedy/Nutty Crackers") are great for putting anything with. Cream cheese, this was good find on special at the supermarket - REALLY NICE! "Down2Earth Japanese Style Eggplant & Miso"; smoked salmon, hommus; and my all-time favourite - "Promite"/avocado tomato/freshly ground black pepper/cheese zapped in microwave until the cheese melts. Oh hmmmmmm ... my favourite mid-morning brunch!!! (I am a savoury person).
Foodwise? Tomorrow is another day! Who knows what I will fancy!

Was just on the last mouthful, when thought, "Oh, I should have taken a photo" Too late! But it was nice. Nom nom!

Aw fangk (lol!) you! (I presume you mean my profile pic? I'm really happy with it!) I've got the photos off my iphone, but still don't know how to add them to the post. Could someone e.g. @Bumbles please help me with this? Fangks! :) Haha sure, the amazing Lizzie hijacked my diary to explain how to get pictures in - if youre using your own photos, you need to upload them online somewhere so you can get a link to them - I use photobucket, its a free image hosting site - link below :) First thing you do is get your image, either via Mr Google or your photo hosting site. Highlight and copy the image address. Then, click here. Then, paste the address in here. Then, if you want to change the size, do it underneath. I generally find 300 x 300 is perfect for a square image. Once you're all done, press insert, and it should post! Now, if you want to post your own images, you'll need somewhere to store them if you don't have somewhere already. I use Photobucket for my hosting. Really easy to upload, edit, and link to. They also have phone apps.

| And I still have OptiFast. I have the coffee flavoured one every morning mixed with skim milk with a slice of cheese and some (very) fried and patted (dry of residual fat) bacon. This has become my standard every day breakfast. | |

| I am just over 18 months post sleeve. Last night had some Mussaman curry chicken with rice and managed about a cup full total including rice, chicken and potato.
If we get pizza, we order a small one each, hubby and I, and I usually eat 3 pieces of mine and have the rest for bfast
The night before last I had 3 small lamb loin chops fried well (my technical term for this is grizzled lol then patted down of any pan fat before plating) including tails but nothing else except some tomato sauce
When we get fish and chips, can only manage about 1/4 of the piece of fish, but scrape the batter off all of it and eat it (yum) and about a hand full or so of chips
Have recently read an article on here that may help others related to not drinking whilst eating called Pouch for Dummies. It certainly explained a lot of what I have been experiencing, and had given me some helpful hints to continue my weight loss with less distress.
Cheers | |

| Tonight, I had BBQ - 1 vegetarian sausage, 1 corn cobbette with lime an mayo sauce, and some salad and feta. Delicious!
Lunch was Muffin sized baked ricotta, with roast pumpkin/tomatoe/chickpea and a mint/balsalmic vinegar dressing.
Breakfast was a shake, with half a frozen banana. I needed to eat AND drink after coming back from a bike ride, so a shake fulfilled both!
I also had 2 light slices of cheese as snacks in between.
Pretty pleased that I can still enjoy food, albeit in much smaller quantities than before.

I've done me some shopping on "Gumtree" and am going to pick up a barely-used Easy Cook Health Oven 717 this am. Unit + accessories + travel bag for $65.00!!! & in the same suburb to pick up from! I wanted one that I could see what was happening inside, and big enough to do a roast chicken etc.
So I shall definitely be joining the "What are you having for dinner" forum!
So...have just done a cook. Top layer - pork belly (crackle!), next - lamb cutlets, next down sliced beetroot and lowest layer - beetroot leaves and stems. I removed the beetroot and lamb cutlets and left the pork belly + beetroot leaves and stems to cook further. I would have included a photo, but don't know how to download photos off my new (for me) 2nd hand iphone 5 (if anyone wants to give me fool-proof instructions, please message me!!).

| This was actually my breakfast (at 1030).
Oh my goodness. It was as good - even better - as I thought that it would be, but I must admit a little bit too much (I'm 7 months post op) by about two mouthfuls.
I made "seedy crackers" yesterday, one tray was thicker than the others so came out more like the really good old-style Vogels bread...(any other Kiwis remember that? The one they have these days is OK, but not the same) which then led me to butter it, apply Promite, avocado, freshly cracked black pepper, full-fat cheese, and a slice of tomato with more freshly cracked pepper. Zapped it in the microwave.
I have packed all my white crockery, so presentation here isn't the best, had to use my bariatric plate lol!

| Funny you should ask, I did a class about 3 weeks after having my sleeve done... I had always wanted to try making salami. So last year I made my first batch with some friends, and we did it again this year.
So.... until it runs out, I snack on home made salami!
I'm 15 months out and dinner tonight was a a scrambled egg and sauteed mushrooms.

| Sleeved 12 August. Last night I had half a cup of puréed Indian takeaway (half dahl and half a beef coconut curry, can't remember the name my sister ordered it). It was so delicious!! Indian is my favourite cuisine and it purées brilliantly. | |
