| the thing that amazes me the most about this thread is i read what you all ate and think mmm that sounds nice id like that when i can eat it, but the thoughts dont trigger the hunger i used to have, thats just freaky.

| I am 2 & a half months out from surgery.
Last night I had 3/4 of a slice of roast beef with gravy.
But I also had 4 beers (Carlton dry in a stubbie) before that.

| I am approaching nine months out of surgery. Last night I had about 1/2 cup Roast chicken; 1/2 cup of Salad (Lettuce/Carrot/Tomato/Cheese) and nearly ate it all. Some nights I can eat twice as much. Also had a WW bucket icecream two hours later; and an hour before dinner a glass of wine. Yummy. | |

| Just under 5 months out.
85g lean organic beef marinated in a Moroccan spice rub then grilled. 1/4 cup salad made with finely chopped raw broccoli and quinoa. Topped with dressing made from blended capsicum, red onion and cashews. 40g avocado topped with a dollop of Greek yoghurt.
Was tasty but I couldn't finish the salad. Aside from the raw broccoli which he pronounced 'tasted like grass' my husband enjoyed this meal too!

| I am about 11 months out and am having fettucine with chicken and pesto. Have lots of basil leaves in the garden and thought it might be nice. I dont really eat pasta or rice anymore as it seems to be a bit of wasted filler and fills me up really quickly (without the corresponding nutrition). I doubt I will be able to eat too much but am pretty sure it's gonna be yummy.
Hope everyone enjoys their various meals!

| This sounds really bad but I'm having takeaway pizza. Hubby is a pizza-holic and he's been missing out badly since my sleeve as I've been cooking healthy meals and only had takeaway about twice. I've had pizza once before since my sleeve and can only manage not quite one piece. I am 11 weeks sleeved on Monday, and this is only my second week back on a full menu. | |

| Good idea GR! I am going away tomorrow so my cupboard is a bit bare (felt like maccas but resisted the urge to eat takeaway junk)
I had 2 small new potatoes, chopped up and boiled A couple of broccolli florets
Half a tomato chopped up
Some grated cheese melted over the top of everything
Spoon of sour cream mayo
No meat in the house, but normally I would have some meat with less veges :)
Sleeved 1 year and 3 weeks ago.

| I thought this would be a good thread to give early sleevers some hope that eventually life will be normal again!
I am seven months and 3 weeks out, and tonight I am munching on melted cheese and ham on toast with relish (one piece is all I can manage). I might have a bowl (small) of ice cream in an hour if I get peckish later!
