Weekly weigh-ins

Hey everyone i saw the collective thread, but trying to start a weekly weigh in thread where we can come and record our weight progress every week or fortnight if you weigh or measurements if you just measure!have done it on other forums and it is great to have one place where everyone can see and help it motivate you if you need some motivation or encouragement!

Record the date & week, loss/gain, and current weight if you want?

I weigh in on Wednesdays so I will start my weigh in on Wednesday hehe. But last weigh in

6/10/10- Week 9- Loss 800 g -was current 84.8kg

Congrats!!! You are a machine!!!!! I am amazed by your ability to maintain great losses week to week this far down the track. Do you exercise? What is a typical daily menu for you? I so want to be losing like you all the way to the end.

for the compliment Josie, I am feeling great. I decided not to update my pic until my school reunion. This way I could actually see a big difference from pre-op.

hi guys weighed in at 94.3kg thats a loss of 1.3kg this week and a total loss of 87.2kg.

12 weeks post op today and weighed in at 89kg. I had my school reunion Saturday night and what a hoot it was. It was so nice to not be the big person for the first time. the compliments I received from those who only seen me last October were very touching. I felt like a Queen.

I have my check up with the dietitian and the nurse this week. I think they are both going to be very pleased with my progress.

Went a little astray with the eating this week. The good news is I still managed to lose 0.6kg. Am getting back on track today. I hope everyone else is having a good week!

Hi guys weighed in at 95.6kg this week thats a loss of 1.4kg over 2 weeks and brings the total loss to 85.9kg.

Wow Julie - you look to be doing great to me. You are about 70% of your way to goal in 6 months! If I am 70% to goal and still losing at 6 months I reckon I will literally be doing cartwheels. Well done and best of luck for the next 6 months.

My normal weigh day yesterday and down 300gms to 89.5

Had my 6 monthly check up with Dr Bovey today and I knew he would be thinking I was going too slow and I was right.
Have to increase the water and the exercise and keep a better idea of the energy intake. I think the excitement of being so much slimmer made a big difference and was maybe celebrating too muich.

All good though so hopefully back on track and I look forward to meeting my goals.

11 weeks post op, another 0.5kg gone. Down to 90.9kg, hopefully will be under 90 for my school reunion this Saturday.

Weighed myself yesterday morning .... down to 69.8 kgs... a total of 0.4 kg loss for the week.

Today, on op day, I weighed in at 99.6 kg meaning I lost exactly 7 kg in pre-op :)

Diddles, you must me so pleased, not only are you out of hospital but you are soooo much healthier now... WTG... and your weight loss is fantastic.
Middlewoman, you have done so well with your weight loss.. is that a 0 to go I spy on both tickers... OMG you did it.
Slaps.. have a great time in Bali.. you'll be in the 80's so very soon.

Well done, Slaps (so close - probably tomorrow, you'll go under the elusive 90!) and didles: great news about the intracranial pressure. That must be such a relief, in so many ways. Well done.

Morning all,

I haven't checked in for a while because I was in hospital. Some great news is that my intracranial Pressure (spinal fluid) has come down from in the 30's to 14 so headaches have decreased and I don't need my shunt but bad news was that it took an awful infection in the shunt to find that out and then surgery to remove it... so after 2 weeks in hospital I am 60.4kg haha I lost 5 kg in hospital just from the lack of eating so I feel like my stomach has shrunk even more so trying hard to eat what I did before I went in and to maintain this weight I am happy, I have achieved what I wanted (no shunt, well I just wanted the headaches to stop that was a bonus!) but my surgeon said that my body makes up it's mind.

I am getting tired of the comments of those around me saying you are wasting away, losing too much, and some other things. I suppose that a future with no brain surgery is not good enough arghhhhh........

0.7kg down 90kg not under like i wanted but ill take it!

Lets hope i don't put on while on holidays like normal so this will be fun :)

You all are doing so well this week.

I forgot to weigh in last week. Oh well it made it all the better this week. I had a loss of 2.5kg for the 2 weeks, which brings me to smack bang on 29kg lost. Down to 91.4kg..........life is good, so much more energy and things don't seem as stressful as when I was carrying the extra weight.

My goal weight is 74kg..........no goal weight was given by the surgeon or the nurse.

Big loss of 2.2 this week which is great. I know it is partly cyclical though and will expect a small loss next week. Absolutely stoked that the scales are still going down though! Best of luck to everyone else this week.

I have finally cracked into the 80's .....5 off this week and at 89.8 but hey thought it was never going to happen.

Think I had been eating a few too many calories and am back on track so hopefully I will make my next goal of 85 in reasonable timeframe.

Well another week bites the dust; a loss of 0.80 this week; down to 70.20kgs. BMI now under 30, yah!
