Josie2, I just have to comment on your progress - it must feel incredible to have reduced your BMI so dramatically. I'll bet your body is already thanking you for the amazing health benefits you have gained. Well done!

| Great loss, bottom28 - and congratulations on reaching that amazing 20kg milestone. It must be very noticeable to others now. Smurfy, you have done it! Already! Why not set up a second ticker to show the second phase of weight loss? That way, your original one will continue to go down under goal and show 'x kgs below goal' - very motivating to see, I would think. Then, for the second one, make it from BMI 30 to BMI 27.5. Once you reach that, change the BMI goal to 25.0 or 24.9. That's what I would do - as you can see, I have 2 tickers to help keep me motivated! Well done, everyone. MiddleWoman | |

I am right there with you. Just in the last week or so as eating has gotten easier I have realised how easy it would be to slip back into old habits. The sleeve is a wonderful tool though and I know I have it to thank that on a bad week I have still managed to lose weight! I so don't want this to be just another temporary success though, like so many other diets I have been on throughout my entire life, so I keep reminding myself it is just a tool and that for me I really need to work on the mental stuff and developing the right habits that I can live with for the rest of my life - which is why they will include some of the good thing too, in moderation and for the right reasons.
Thanks Josie I have actually had a better week this week, starting to "get it" about the speed and amount of eating. I should though, I'm 8 weeks out!!!! I'm feeling quite bouyed today though, after a good week without too much effort but just being careful I succumbed to the temptation of jumping on the scales this morning and I was 1.8kg down since Monday - my weigh in day is not for 2 more days. It really does prove that we just need to ignore those 200gram weeks and rejoice in the 1.5kg+ weeks. I also broke the "20kg total lost" barrier too....yippeee Have a great day all.

| Well another week bites the dust; but yah! I am down 0.90 kg this week; and yah! that makes me 71 kg; my specialist's goal weight achieved (which he said would most likely be a year out); only three months, one week and six days out; I never in my wildest dreams thought I could get to this weight this quickly and never in the life of me would I have achieved this without my tt. I LOVE my tt. Just a thought; I am indecisive as to which way to go. Should I leave my Ticker at the Specialists goal weight (which I feel if I do, I may think I have reached goal and will not try so hard to achieve additional weight loss), I am now at 29.9 BMI; or should I reset my Ticker to 60.00kg, a healthy 25 BMI (though I feel if I do, I will get overlydissapointed if that weight is miles out of my reach). What are your thoughts? | |

| Morning all,
Have been busy for a few weeks so haven't been around.
I've sort of slowed right down, 200g last week and 800g this week, but I think I am eating too much. I put the food out in a little dish but it is definitely more than half a cup, and I have had a few glasses of wine also.
I think it's time to ficus?
Any thoughts?
Anyway, first big target of 20kg down is about 700g away so going for that this week.
No booze, less food, more walking, more water.
I think that I have been my old self this week apart from the 'tool' of a small tummy helping me out.
Sound familiar???.
Cheers, have a good day all.

| Hi all,
nice to see how you are going, keep up the good work and the postings.
I have been a bit slack of late and too many celebrations and back into the morning and afternoon teas. I can eat almost anything now and thinking only one piece won't make that much difference and my first week of putting on weight! Only .5kg but it is up instead of down so just a timely reminder for me that the sleeve is only a tool and back to 3 meals a day and no more snacking when not hungry.
Have a good week everyone!

For example, morning or nights, clothes on or completely off? Would be interesting to know.... PS: Im now down to 81.4kgs.... Ive lost a further 2.3kgs in the ast 12 days since my last weigh in on 30/4/11 Hi Cantwait, I am also a bit obsessive with weighing myself. I pretty much weigh myself first and last thing every day. My official weigh in is first thing in the morning whilst still in my PJs. I really only take notice of the morning weigh ins so I am comparing apples with apples so to speak. I am seeing the dietician about once a month and although her scales give me a slightly different weight the total losses are the same- which she says is the importanat thing!
