| Perfectly normal to have stalls. It is just your body catching up. Unfortunately the message doesn't get to our heads. It will move again, and it will stall again. Viscous cycle.
To lose the weight, I generally eat about 500 to 800 calories a day. It consists mainly of chicken or fish with vegetables, but I do vary as well. I can't stomach potatoes so that helps keep things low carb. I can tolerate pasta but only tiny amounts. I sometimes have a protein meal replacement shake if I can't bother with a meal (ie at work and don't have time for lunch) and I also have another type of protein drink for when I think I haven't had enough protein for the day. I need to make more of an effort to keep my fluids up. I also have good intentions for exercise. I attend a fitness class once a week so far and am trying to dust off my gym membership. I had hoped to get a personal trainer but that hasn't eventuated.

| Thanks so much for getting back to me. It is so hard to tell whether you are on track or not.. I feel as though for at least two weeks since the surgery I have been on a stall where I don't lose anything, yet I am exercising a lot and not eating a great deal of calories.. I guess that this is normal and is part of the sleeve journey!!! | |

| 15kgs is excellent. well done.
my surgeon also thinks 1/2 to 1kg a week is great. it's funny because thats what all the experts say.

| You are doing well. At 9 weeks post op I'd lost just under 12 kilos. Almost 20 weeks out now and I'm 33 kilos less (but that also includes 6 kgs from pre-surgery).
My Dr said he was happy with a kilo a week average. Have had ups and downs, even a week of gaining. Nonetheless, I feel a lot better and have started getting compliments galore.
Just enjoy the journey and vary your goals, use measurements/clothes as a guide just as much as the scale. You will find that when the scale doesn't budge, the measurements do.
Take care and congrats on the 15 kgs gone forever!
