| I finally have one of my own to add.
I bought a pair of dress pants from Target in a size 18 and when I tried them on they wouldn't come on past my butt. Today they are all the way up and I can fasten them if I breathe in. So another kilo or two and they should fit perfectly. Yay.
I'm so glad I bought the smaller size and hopefully I will get some good wear out of them for the rest of the Winter. I just need to get myself a decent coat now to see me through this cold spell.
Hugs, | |

| Sylph-like - hmmmmmmm. Perhaps not. But definitely less bulky.
And another NSV today. I am going to the snow on the weekend (4 days) and my last-year parka (a man's one) has now gone to MOTH. So I got my 5 year old one out - and it fits! In fact it fits generously. It is really nice - black with a white trim. So I'll be nice and warm.
I'll be offline from Saturday to Tuesday - back Wednesday.

| Caz, congratulations on slipping past that woman like the slyph (sp?) that you are.
Mama, watch out- Cirque De Soleil will be after you for their acrobatics segment if you don't watch it.
Well done to both of you!

| How awesome! I remember moving to different parts of various cars when I was much younger (but that is another whole story).
I had a bit of an NSV today. I was in very squishy Victoria's Basement and there was a larger-size lady standing in one of the narrow aisles. I just slid past her with no problem at all!!! I really feel much less bulky now.
I love NSVs | |

| Perth has been wet the last few days so when I accompanied my learner driver daughter to the train station I didn't want to get out of the car to get into the driver's seat. After a couple of seconds thought, I lifted my bum over the hand brake and gear stick and slid into the driver's seat - EASILY. Such elegant agility has rarely been seen!! Pity there were no witnesses so I'm sharing it with you .....

| i wrote out a cheque to pay for machinery parts at hastings last week and needed to show my licence for id. the place was very busy and as i was being served by someone new, he had to go and get someone else to ok it. when he came back to the counter i saw him look at my licence photo and then look around the room. he did this twice before i put him out of his misery and owned up. lol. the poor young fellow was so embarrassed and mumbled out a sort of compliment.
made my day. cheers tracey
