| Forearms will be fine I had my half sleeve pre sleeve and it's been perfectly fine, I stopped myself going higher as I knew I'd end up with loose skin on my upper arms.
But once that's sorted I'll continue my work.

| Wow, this thread is great!
I'm also a year-round thong wearing girl, who loves AC/DC, cars and have quite a few tattoos!
I'm a little worried about my weightloss affecting my tattoos. Inparticular my half sleeve and my favorite tattoo which is a big pirate ship on my leg!! Everywhere else (hand, forearms, back of my neck, around my hairline and feet) should fair quite well, I'm hoping!
Loving seeing pictures of everyone's art!

| Wow, very nice. That's the best version of the eye of Horus I've seen, loving the detail in the eye!

| Hi there!
I'm planning on getting a tattoo in a few months time, hopefully when a little more weight has come off!! My original plan was to get it on my wrist but now I'm having second thoughts as I don't really want too visible at work.. But I don't know where else to put it.
I want the Latin words "Alis volat propriis" which translates to "she flies with her own wings" I also wants a tiny little black bird to go with it, on top of the hand below the middle of the thumb and index finger.. Or below the pinky finger in the side of my hand. But all a little to hard to hide when I need to I think!?
Would love any opinions on positioning???

| That's great J and Kate it's how it should be to have great meaning to yourself otherwise why would you do it. The same for all of us. We should live our lives wholeheartedly giving ourselves what is important to us as individuals. Yay for you. I would never do it though but it dosen't mean I don't appreciate how much it means to you or the amazing art involved hopefully LOL. :) | |

| Exactly how tatts should be J. They represent what is special and personal. If they don't mean anything to anyone else it doesn't matter. I only have 2 but they are very special to me and I don't care what other people think. | |
