| Personally, I'd wait.
If it's not completely healed, then you have a huge risk of getting a staph infection.
They aren't fun, believe me. | |

| I dont think there would be any problems.
I got my 2nd tat after my op and weightloss as a reward to my self.

Oh, I already have the tattoo on my foot, just getting it touched up. I just wasn't sure about my stomach healing, then having a healing tattoo too. I already have a tattoo planned for once I'm at my goal weight (and after further surgeries, if I need them) :) | |

| I would wait till you get to goal just in case you need some 'body work'. Also by waiting you can use a tattoo as a victory present to yourself. | |

| Is it in an area that the skin will get loose after loosing more weight? If yes then Id wait.
If its on shoulder blade,ankle etc areas that wont be affected by weight loss then it should be ok.I would ask the tattooist what they think.

| How long should I wait before getting a tattoo. I had an appointment booked for this Saturday to get a tattoo touched up, is that too close to surgery? Should I wait a bit longer for me to heal from surgery before going? | |
