| Hi Guys I had a great NSV today. I got my hair cut. Now I think a few of you have mentioned you hate looking at yourselves in the mirror with the cape on at the hairdressers. Well this has always been a real issue for me. I can't remember ever really going to the hairdressers and not cringing when I looked at myself with the cape on in the mirror. Well today I didn't cringe, or avoid eye contact with myself, or be completely critical about myself. I was able to look and note what I liked what I saw, and what I wasn't overly keen on got a very quick - it will get better soon, and not another second was wasted beating myself up. What I then realised was that I've been thinner than I am now at the hairdressers before, but how I see myself is what has changed. I was pretty happy with myself when I realised what a big change I have made.

| My wedding rings can move on my fingers, I htink thats from weightloss and not the cold. I might have to take them off soon and have them resized!! My work shirt has been down sized from 20 to 16 and my work pants are all too big! | |

How wonderful for you. The ultimate high. Who needs drugs hey??
You'll be looking for excuses to hit the streets now just to show off all your fitting clothes. Teehee.

| I have just stuck my head out of piles of clothes in the wardrobe to report a fantastic NSV. An expensive one though!
The jeans I bought in the USA that I could do up if I held my breath and turned blue now fit. This includes some Esprit Jeans I bought in a normal Esprit shop - they are XL but who cares! It also includes the ones I bought at K-Mart!
I am now fitting into clothes I kept that I haven't worn since 2005 - and have a huge pile of clothes that are too big - size 16-18 and up. I do wish I knew someone who could use them on their weight loss journey downwards - just let me know if you are interested or they will be going to the mother-in-law (some of them) or St Vinnies!!!
The main thing I was excited about was putting on things I wore last summer that I just could not wear now because they look ridiculously large on me. I think I now have about 5 t-shirts that fit! Even things that were a bit small last summer are too big.
I can't believe it!!!
I also measured myself this morning - the updated losses are fantastic! | |

| Wow - Belly and Jezzy, I know exactly what you mean - congratulations on fitting into those new coats, and the timing is perfect too, isn't it? Jezzy - giggle - hot biker chic? In my dreams! LOL Lucy, are you kidding? Of course that's a great NSV - congratulations on the 18s, and guess what? Soon you'll be into the 'normal' sized clothes section! Chris | |

| Hi Guys
Not a particular exciting NSV for everyone else to read about, but it was for me. Today I brought a pair of size 18 pants in Options plus at Target - Have not been able to do this in a few years. The last pair I brought were a 22/24. I was rather happy.

| Congrats on your coat victories Jezzy and Belly. Just the right weather for a nice, warm coat. Well here in Perth anyway. Smart move Jezzy.
Belly you must to thrilled to actually be able to fit into the shop and their clothes now. What an amazing achievement. Shopping must be so much fun now with your daughter. Looking forward to being in that position too, one day.

| Yay, hot biker chick Chris! Congrats Belly - I bought a beautiful trench coat about 2 months ago and the 16 was too big so I had to get the 14 - twist my arm why don't you! ;) But I'm going to a beachside property this weekend, and Perth's having a bit of hurricane-ish weather, so I need a warmer coat. Took out a red woolen full-length one that used to be my mum's. I haven't been able to button it up since I was 14, and the sleeves have always been too short. This afternoon, it fit perfectly. And it's gorgeous! She's so not getting it back... :D | |

| Todays NSV.....
I should know better than to post these, i always jinx myself after i have a brag, hehe!
Do you know the dress shop chain SES? Its one of those cheep asian clothing shops , your teenage daughter probably buys stuff there and so do normal sized women. The sizes are a bit on the small side and i think they only go up to size 14. Their XL will comfortably fit my left leg, or 1 boob!
Today i bought a size 14 white trench coat from there and the 12 fit! (all be it a little tight across the back)
I couldn't beleive it fit! Back in December i could hardly fit into their shop. Now i can actually have a choice of clothing from there, and daughter and I can walk side by side between the racks ;)
Although i am still questioning the wisdom of getting a white one, i'm such a grub.
I'll definatley have to stop buying those dam chips now! |

| Great NSVs everyone - I love to hear everyone else's! And I have something to share myself, today, too. I walked hubby to work, and then continued on to the 24 hour K Mart store - I so love that! LOL I wanted to buy some new "workout" gear, so I got that, and was so pleased that I could get a size 16 in both tops and bottoms. On the way out, though, I saw some imitation leather pants so I decided to try them on for a lark, since they had them in a size 16. Of course I thought they'd never fit, as they were "Girl Express" brand, and as we all know, sizes vary tremendously (I'd just tried on 4 pairs of pants, 2 of which fitted well, one was too small, and one was actually too big!). So I tried on the pants, and they actually fit! If I didn't think it was a case of "mutton dressed up as lamb", I would have been very tempted to buy them, too! But the icing on the cake was the little extra label that was attached - and it read "super skinny"! LOL And believe you me, when I had them on, I actually felt that the label was right! ROFL Not that I'm anywhere near skinny, or ever will be, but compared to "fat chris", I really am! Have a lovely day, everyone! Chris | |
