I haven't had baths by choice for years and years because of the trouble I had getting out but yesterday I had a bath and I could get out with no troubles. Oh my - now that is an insanely fantastic victory - I love baths and I remember when I went into a hotel a couple of years ago that had one of the standard regulation size bathtubs and I could barely fit me and the water and was concerned about getting out - a very sobering moment- ;hail to skinny geek.

| Hey, TP, that's great! I love my leggings, and just yesterday bought a couple of new summer tops to go with them. Actually, I guess that's a big NSV for me - I bought 4 t-shirts and 2 of those blouson long tops that go over leggings - for only $65 total! When I was big, I would have been lucky to get half of that for the same price! Not only that, though - I walked past My Size the other day and the sign says sizes 14-26 - and I realised that not only do I not have to shop there any more, but if I go down just one more size, I won't be ABLE to shop there any more!!! | Yay Chook!!
I had a NSV yesterday. I bought some leggings (you know like stockings, but without the foot bit), and I fit into an average. Normally I have to buy tall/extra tall (and anyone who has met me can account to the fact that I am a shortie), even though my weight is on the border line I bought the smaller size, and they fit!!

| Hia
Well I have been feeling bit flat with regard to weight loss, but came back to reality with a big thud!! I have been quite hung up on sizes and a tad upset at still being a 16. I ordered a pair of cheap shorts off the net, I thought I'd get a 14 to give me a bit more motivation to tone etc. Well madness...they are too big. So now I am finally jumping for joy! Size 12 here I come, and about time.
Cheers Chook | |

| Hi Chris,
That's wonderful, its nice to get back to the same shape as siblings. It sounds like your sister is pretty supportive as well, sometimes it can take some adjusting for them when they don't have the fat sibling any more.

| Wow- you miss a few days on the forum and there are NSVs popping up all over the place!
Bushgirl- congratulations on having nothing to wear! Those tops were bargains too. Enjoy those new jeans. Did you find some nice undies too?
Lib- normally I would think of only having 2 pairs of pants to wear as a tragedy, but we all know that it's actually a fantastic victory. Well done.
Tickled Pink- Size 12 jeans- absolutely awesome. Hope you feel fab in them.
Gail- glad that people (bankers nonetheless) are noticing your wonderful weight loss. Congratulations.
Bella- here's to using the "were" word much more often in our vocabularies...and get the to a cobler's shop girl!
Nicole- glad you found the energy to dance all night. Hopefully there was a little left in reserve for dancing in the sheets afterwards? Have a great time at Pink you lucky girl!
Lynette- you go girl rocking those ankle boots! Well done on the leg crossing too.
Jodi- glad you are able to enjoy cuddles in your partner's lap now- although short lived due to the bones...or the boner? Whatever.
Again, congratulations to everyone on your wonderful NSV's.

| I get the shoe thing too, and just recently bought and wear a pair ankle length boots with heels, haven't done that for a while. I got another small NSV, I can actually cross my legs when sitting ie knee over knee, can't remember the last time I could cross my legs like that. | |

| Nicole thats awesome and so liberating isnt it. Its like being set free. This weekend my friend and my kids are taking me to see pink and then clubbing afterwards for my own 40th birthday and im going to boogie the night away all night long and i wont be drinking either and want to be in te thick of it for a change in my mini dress and killer heeled boots. I bet when you got on the dance floor you had all eyes on you for all the good reasons, oh and by the way you have the most amazing cheek bones. X Jodi | |
