| Hi Allie, Good job with the tray going all the way down it must have felt fantastic !!! All the little things make us feel just so fantastic. GREAT NSV Janey, I bet london to a brick that you don't need an extender I didn't when I flew in June at 106 kilos and I was absolutely over the moon. The tray for me was another matter, still when I go over next year it won't be an issue now will it | |

| Wonderful news Allie.
I'm so looking forward to seeing if the tray comes all the way down and if there is a gap between me and it when I fly out on Sunday. I also have my fingers crossed that I do not need an extender.
Keep up the good work.

| I had my first NSV this week.
Had to fly to Canberra for work and the tray table actually went down on the flight - YAY. Funny the tray tabel goes down because now I am not hungry to eat the meal.
I am about 3 inches away from not needing the seat belt extender.

| Hi guys, Only 5 weeks down the line but happy to grab any NSV that comes my way. Most recent being while helping my better half to strim (him) and clear (me) the garden I usually do all I can to avoid anything that uses too much energy but this time I was actually looking for things to do while I waited on strimmer boy catching up!! What a great feeling it was not feeling the need to sit down out of breath after every couple of minutes. I really enjoyed it, and believe me, I've never said that in twenty years. Another one is being able to reach my feet while sitting in the bath. I used to have to stand up and perch my foot on the edge. And isn't it great when you pull the plug and the bath empties and the water behind you actually starts to make it's way out along with the rest? It used to stay at the same level it was at when I ran it!! Maybe that's too much information, lol. Better half has an NSV too - I don't give him as much earache now when he wants to take the car!
Thanks Bella, had no idea about NSV's until you showed me the way. Hey Tempest, I have the same knee probs, hope mine follows the same route! Well done!
Loadsa luv, Cloudyjane

| Well done Gail. It's the little things that mean the most sometimes. Just being able to do something you haven't done for ages can give you the biggest boost.
Keep them coming.

| Hi, I have a couple today well from the last couple of days. Yesterday going into foodland I was behind this really large woman and she struggled to get through the whirly gate thingy. My first thought was God that looks embarrassing and I am just about to do that. Walked straight through did not have any wobbly bits at all that hit the sides can you believe that, I just couldn't believe it. Then I felt so bad for the woman in front of me. BUT the best best best thing that has happened today was that I got down on the floor and back up again. Now this may not seem like much but after about 5 years of having knees so sore that I couldn't bend them enough to get down. The right knee was still a little sore but I could actually physically do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy that I just did a happy dance. oh and I LOVE EVERYBODY AT THE MOMENT ESPECIALLY YOU LOT ! | |

| I get some people who ever time I see them I get a "every time I see you you are smaller" but after nearly 30kg I still find most people don't notice anything.
I could be wrong, but I think I lot of people still just look at me and think "fat person" and I'm as guilty of that as any other. I wonder when I reach target that these people will look at me and go "not fat person" and start saying something.

| You've gotta love the 'glasses', 'haircut' etc comments, don't you. People really are quite self-absorbed and don't usually notice people until something massive changes.
I take all comments as compliments because they mean someone has noticed something different - but these were ACTUAL compliments - you're looking great - you've lost weight etc etc.

| I think Caz, that when you get to a loss of about 25kg it's really really noticeable and there are more nice compliments. Although last week I had yet another 'have you got new glasses or had a different haircut? Not everyone is observant!
Two people last week told me I looked much taller ..... and I'm still in flat shoes! Might try high heels in summer.

I was certainly beaming, that's for sure!

| I have had a very strange day today. Now between Friday and today I'm sure I haven't lost much weight - 200-300 grams perhaps. But today I have had more comments on how well I'm looking and how much weight I've lost than all the comments I've had since I had the operation (except from my wonderful hubby and family).
The only thing I can think is that I'm wearing different shoes with a wedge heel, so my legs probably look longer and therefore I look slimmer in proportion. I hardly ever wore heels when I was fatter - they hurt my feet - but now I can and plan to continuing to do so (well at least on days when I need an ego boost :-) )
