I couldn't wait to finish the mushie stage, never thought I would miss chewing food so much! The magic bullet was my friend, I just blitzed everything into mush - fish, eggs, chunky soup, spag bol sauce, chicken chow mein, although I recommend starting with soft foods like fish & eggs. Spag bol took a few days before I could eat it comfortably, it's a denser food so didn't sit as easily.

Has fruit smoothie yesterday - divine. My dinner guests were eating fish and chips yesterday. Very good fish so they gave me sum, minus the batter of course and it went down a treat.

salmon rissoles are really good, if you add an egg to the mix it will make it softer, I also blend up really fine coleslaw mix (the ones you get at coles or woolies) and add this to mixture so protein and vegies in one bowl, (they freeze well)

salmon, mashed sweet potato, one egg, cup of blended very fine coleslaw or any vegies in the fridge, bake in oven. yum.

grilled white fish (such as perch)mashes nice and soft, with really well mashed vegies,
chicken mince made into a tasty bolg sauce, give it a blitz so smooth but thick, some of that on mashed potato and yum

handy hint for being caught out, when you need to eat at this stage
frozen yogurt, or fruit smoothie goes down lovely.

I am after some input from those who have been through this stage - esp for the march sleevers and some like me who sort skipped the stage as i serioulsy couldnt think of ideas for it.

So if anyone can assist with ideas, i am sure it would be most helpful.

thanks
