Early Days - NZ

Hi.
I have Gastric Sleeve surgery penciled in for the 11 May 2015 in Auckland, NZ. I haven't had my initial consultation yet, that's mid-April, so early-ish days for me....but it cant come around fast enough..
I am 43 and have struggled with weight always and am sick of thinking/obsessing about it.
I am a Mum of a 7 and 6 year old and hope that loosing weight will give me more energy as I feel like I drag myself around most days. More confidence and better self-esteem would be great too!!
I was hoping to see from this forum what other people's experiences have been like sleeved, how they are doing long term. Plus any other and tricks!
I hope this is going to be the answer for me.
