| Hi MissKax
Thanks for that web address. I have put my food in for today so far and have eaten only 225 calories. So plataeu could be starvation mode...

| Calorieking.com.au you can join for free and track your food/calories and exercise. It's not perfect, but has most foods I've tried to put in. | |

| Annden. I hit a plateau for 2 weeks kind of. I found it extremely helpful to look at info on weight loss plateaus. It is most helpful to do things different to the way you are doing it as then it will trick the body into getting moving and get your metabolism cranking. There are several factors that can produce plateau's: not enough food to fuel high amounts of cardio exercise (prompting a starvation mode and reducing metabolism), eating the same types of foods all the time, not doing enought cardio type exercise, and or eating too little food and basically starving yourself. I have been told that as sleevers eat so little at first that after the great initial loss the body can enter starvation type mode and not lose as much for a few weeks. I think the important thing is to do a good amount of cardio each day (not too intense) and vary the type of activity in order to keep the body guessing. And eat different foods each day, eat until your full (slowly as too not overeat and stretch your sleeve) and or if you are doing way too much exercise maybe do a little less intense exercise to shift your body out of starvation mode. I try and eat good amounts of foods of different types each day and never fatty foods. I now track my food intake and exercise intake throught w/w so that I dont lose track of what is going on and to avoid plateaus. I hope that this helps you! Take care! weight in hospital 108kg weight now 85kg | |

| Hi Shanna
Thanks for your comments. Yes, I do exercise. 30 minutes weight training mon-fri plus take my doggies for a little walk. Just have to wait I guess. Guess its the body saying, "Now hold on here - I had this flab for years and I've let you have 10kg of it, but darn it you're going to have to fight me for the rest"

| Annden - I am 53 and am losing significantly slower than the twenty somethings on the forum. I have found that a half hour on the bike seems to do the trick. After few days it gets my system moving again. Are you getting any physical activity- if not try some - even a slow walk might help. And fill in your signature so we can watch your progress and cheer you on. That helps too. Good luck | |

| I have stalls all the time, I had one stall that lasted for almost three weeks, and I usually stall and sometimes gain during the week and drop on the weekends. I think sitting behind a desk at work plays havoc with my fluid retention levels. Anyway I think it is pretty normal. I am sure I read somewhere on here where other people have had stalls longer than 3 weeks as well. | |
