| Hi YummyMummy, I'm using a vegetable protein called Vital Protein, pea protein isolate. It's dairy-free, gluten-free, low fat, low carb, has a high digestibility rating of 98% and lots of other selling points written on the pack. Per 25g serve it has 22g protein, 0.1g carbs & 0.25g fat. I find it good mixed into soups etc. I bought it at a health food store for $36 for 500g.

How about any from QLD shops? Just your average protein powder? If I can't find any today or tomorrow Suzy I will order it online xxx

- Hi YummyMummy,
The website is www.wheyprotein.com.au if you are interested.
I have just looked at the website and it does list stockists so you may be able to get it locally - now I'm going to see if I can get it locally at less than the dietitian charges for it :) ($49 for 1kg)

| Hi YummyMummy, My dietitian recommends Boomers Prolengevity but I think it is only available online so you wouldn't be able to get it tomorrow. She uses this one because it has the highest concentration of protein (99%) and is virtually tasteless. The website is www.wheyprotein.com.au if you are interested. Susan | |
