I had to wait 3 months before the doctor would do my sleeve (after my band removal). He said that it was so the stomach would return to its natural shape and position.

I had my band removed and was sleeved at the same time. For me it was a conscience decision to have it done this way. I know others wait some months between removal & sleeve.
