| Yep, go back to the doc - shouldn't be getting worse, but better. | |

| I would ring your doctor again and say the pain is getting worse. I fyou don't want to go there go and see your gp. It is all very well saying it is normal but needs to indiciate that he cares. The doctor needs to explain to you what is going on and give you something to handle the pain. Good luck. And keep on asking questions until you have the situation resolved. | |

| Hi everyone, I have just introduced myself in the newbie section and I need to ask all you sleevers out there this question: I was sleeved 3 weeks ago today and very happy but the initial pain in the muscle where they removed the stomach has turned from an annoying pain to a sharp, burning sensation. I don't get it when I am lying down, sitting fairly still etc, but when I bend down, turn, or get out of bed it is really sharp. I mentioned it too my surgeon at my 2 week visit and he said it was normal, but it has gotten worse over the last week. I am thinking it is because the stitch has dissolved now and it's the muscles working without it that is causing it, but I am hoping someone out there can tell me, it is ok and that it will go away? This is the only issue I have had so far. thanks PS - I have no idea how to do avatars and pretty pictures etc - maybe someone can direct me. | |
