| I can now comfortably wear normal pantyhose from the supermarket and don't have to go to the special shop and pay over $10 for Queenies brand that still never fitted properly. | |

| Hey bushgirl
I like your attitude - these new smaller ones are easier to work with!! Always look for the positives!!! It's a bit of a shock how much easier a women's body can drop weight from the top half while still clinging like dear life to the tummy and hips.
Saw some change in swimwear though, it's starting to get all gapey up top woo hoo! Its the little things that you notice on this journey eh.
cheers, Kat | |

| Hey Max
I've got a big bag full of bras in various sizes if you want to come and have a rumage (even some from my sister who has already had a reduction done). Just give me a buzz.
Cheers Gail | |

| Thanks and well done Max! As for boobs, I have deflated sacks... theres nothing left but the skin! I tuck it into a bra, but Im looking forward to not having to do this, even if I would be almost flat chested... After having big ones, little ones are so easy to work with! (makes running and exercise easier) I do however have one super dooper bra for going to the gym! it flattens my pancakes and holds them in tight! Good luck with the op! xx | |

| Good on you both BG and Max. How fantastic.
I'm noticing that the girls are either shrinking or the love handles around the back are. Either way the sides of my bra are gaping and I'm having to resort to doing them up on the tightest hooks. There is a bit of room in the cups too so I suppose I'm shrinking all over.
I can't wait to get into some lovely lingerie too.....I'll be so happy to say goodbye to these industrial strength boulder holders.

| WoooHooo Bushgirl, Way to Go!!! I have a NSV, today is the 3rd time I have had to go and hunt down smaller sized bras in the past 6 months. With only 7 weeks till breast surgery, it is all rather amusing that I keep shringking out of my bra's. So far I haven't had to spend any money as I have had a range of sizes in my draw from growing out f them. Now I am into my last 3 smallest sizes then by the time I shrink out of these it will be time for my sergury then I can by some lovely little lingerie, one's I have only ever dreamt about. Max | |

| Hi Gail Thanks for sharing your success in the fun run with us - 5km! wow that's a long way. Soooo good to see these amazing people with sleeves running 5km. I don't do enough exercise, enough blaming it on the sleeve. You're an inspiration to all of us trying to be fitter. Kat (me trying to get fitter lol) | |

| What wonderful news Gail. Especially the flexible part. You pretzel you!!!! But then the fact that you completed the course is totally wild. What an accomplishment.
Keep that amazing feeling going for as long as you can. Milk it for all it is worth.
You're a legend.

| Hi well another NSV for me today. I participated in a 5km fun run this morning and completed it in 41min 37 second (and did it in the rain and it was only 14c). Didn't come in last. Actually came 6th in my age bracket!!! And even managed to run/shuffle most of it even with my dodgy hip. Crossed the finish line and went straight to the free massage tent (and scored the cute physio to do my massage as well). He said that my muscles were in great shape. I have hyper mobile joints so he was surprised at how flexible I am but did say that it is probably the reason I'm having hip trouble as I'm just too darn flexible... Now if only I could have put that flexibility to a better use.... | |

| Congratulations Tamara, I can only aspire to be a size 10 way off in the distance LOL Mind you I think that given time it will come for me as well.
Not sure if this is an NSV or not but was talking to a friend today that was sleeved one week after me and we both of us realised that we haven't had a single menopausal hot flush since the surgery. Before then it was pretty bad. Not one night waking up bathed in sweat........not one day day of having to peel off layers and fan yourself when it is sub zero temperatures.......... NSV or not that is a fantastic victory for me. WOOP DE DOOOO I so hope that the tropical moments don't come back I was so over it !!!!!!!!!
Big hugs Gail. | |

Caz- what a nice surprise, fitting into the 12's without even realising it. Lib - it's a great feeling isnt it, knowing that you dont have to eat everything that is put in front of you. Prior to surgery some part of my brain must have thought I was going to die of starvation if I didnt eat everything that was given to me, since the sleeve, I know that is certainly not the case.
I had a NSV the other day, I was at the shops and went into one of those cheap clothes shops (I think it was called Suga Suga, or something like that), I saw a beautiful summer dress so I grabbed a 12 to try on, and guess what it was too big! The 10 fitted perfectly (I think that they were a bit bigger sizes though), but I didnt end up getting it as it was too long for me. But still a size 10 fitted! This time last year I was wearing a 20 -22. See the negative conatotions going on there? (I think that they were bigger sizes though).... snap out of it, bigger sizes or not a 10 is a 10!! Well done!!

- Well I had a couple of NSVs over the past week or so.
1. Went to Target to buy some jeans. I grabbed a size 12 and a size 14 and decided to try the 14 on first. It fitted well. So went then to give back the other pair to the fitting room lady, and realised that they were actually both size 12, one was just on the wrong hanger. Stoked!!! So size 12 well and truly fits.
2. Had to have a colonoscopy on Wednesday. I had to write down the surgery details, and the anaesthetist asked me why I had it. I said for weight loss and she looked at me and said I didn't need to lose any weight - he he. I pointed out that 7 months ago I certainly did. She was so impressed.
Love my sleeve! Caz that is fantastic!! On all counts!!! I had a NSV the other day, we went out for dinner, which we haven't done much of since my sleeve, cause food just gets wasted. We went to the RSL and they had a deal of steak and a mini pav. My husband ordered the steak, and pre surgery I would have had his pav for desert. I had one spoon of it, and I walked away from the table with the most of it still there. Who would of ever thought I'd walk away from a desert, certainly not me!!
