| thank you Ezzareno! Congratulations on your weight loss success! you are doing so great!
I saw Dr MH last week, had 2 pages of questions for him :) I am impressed and I think I will be in good hands, just frustrating that due to my partners leg surgery I had to postpone op till September...
I guess that gives me enough time to do a bit of research on dietitians and organise phone consults... Also my biggest worry is how and where to stay 2 weeks in Brisbane after the op, Dr Michael does not want me to go back home until 2 weeks post op. My partner want's to join me to help and keep eye on me. That sends the costs through the roof...

| I had Hatzifotis, and he was great. And when I had my surgery in December he still had never had a leak. He is stricter/more conservative than other surgeons (Eg: staying in hospital for 5 days and nill by mouth for the first 3).
Not sure about the dietitian, but I had a phone consolation for the therapist. Best that you see a dietitian that deals with wls (as they give all the info on pre and post surgery diet.
All in all I highly recommend Michael Hatzifotis and his team (and the hospital was pretty good too). Feel free to message me if you have any questions about my experiences.

| oh wow! I am there at 2 pm:) !
are you also seeing his dietitian or another one? I will have to enquire whether she is ok to do skype or phone, I can't fly there every time I need to see her or psycholgist... on te other hand I would love to see somebody who works with sleeved people, not just random dietitian like the one that my partner saw after his heart attack that had a knowledge from like...25 years ago

| Thank you NOGI!!! Congratulations on your success so far! First weeks must be tough... Did you have to do Optifast for 2 weeks prior the op?
How much time did you have to wait for the op since first visit? cheers agus

| I used Dr Hatzifotis and am currently reaching the end of my liquid diet phase. He was great, very careful and the staff at Greenslopes were fantastic. | |

| Hi guys,
I read all the posts that mentioned Dr Michael as an amazing doctor but still craving more info. I am almost convinced that he is my choice for a sleeve but would love to hear from more of his patients. Somebody mentioned that until 2014 he did not have any leaks in his stats. Is that still the case?
Are the dietitians that he works with good?
His resume is very impressive!
Please tell me more!!! Can't wait to hear about him!
