| well after a long time of more research and soul searching I am going in on the 19th april to have a gastroscopy to see if I am able to have the sleeve done. I had my band removed over 18 mths ago after having it in for over 5.5 years. It had 70% eroded into my stomach. Dr Thomas wasn't certain if i could have the sleeve until I have the gastroscopy. When I had it removed they had found I had a hernia as well so maybe he can fix that at the same time.
I was wondering as I have top level of health insurance with HIF if anyone who has had Dr Thomas is able to give me the out of pocket expenses for his and the Anaethisists fee as I will have to get a loan to pay for the surgery.
Not I just have to wait for the out come of the gastroscopy!!
