| hey all
i quick update...today i officially hit my goal weight that i set back in jun last year! the sleeve has changed my life, my self-esteem and my relationships with others and of course food...i now love working out, sleep better, have great cholesterol levels, can wear a size 10-12 in clothes, have 1 drink per week. in june 2010 i was 97kg and today 65kg
i am now rethinking my goal to another 5-6kg...that would make my year
the sleeve has been such a great tool which has led to me embracing fitness...it has been an interesting road and i have not always made the most fantastic food choices but the sleeve has provided a safety net which means even when i make bad choices it gives me the time to reign control back in for the next meal...the only people who still know about the sleeve are my husband and 2 friends however all of my family are so pleased that i have become so much fitter and healthier
my head issues surrounding food and people's impressions of me are a work in progress but one which i suspect will be for the rest of my life, for now, i am going to continue to work my butt off to get under 60kgs then i am going to save for my tummy tuck lol
i am so grateful to have had the sleeve and wish luck and courage to those considering this life-changing surgery! | |
