John Flynn Private Hospital - Gold Coast QLD

I went there under Dr Layani.



The hospital was wonderful and they couldnt do anything more for me then what they did. I had such lovely nurses and when i wanted to walk they would watch and make sure i was ok.

I can't speak highly enough about John Flynn!

The nurses were all just so lovely I ended up going back to visit them and giving them Hudsons coffee vouchers. The rooms are big and comfortable and relatively quiet for a hospital.

I have spent time in Pindara (maternity ward when I had my daughter and then for a week with pneumonia), Allamanda (gallbladder removal under Dr Nolan and later for a another operation on my butt) and John Flynn (for my sleeve gastrectomy under Dr Layani) and John Flynn was far and away the best hospital of the three.

Great nursing staff, comfortable rooms, great views and really easy to get in and out of for visitors (and for further appointments and check-ups). From pre-surgery right through to recovery and my patient room everyone was just really empathetic, nothing was ever too much trouble and I hardly ever had to call the nurse call button, they were really really great with their patient care.

The other hospitals were fine (i'm not intending to write them off) but John Flynn really was just so good. If I end up needing to go back to hospital some day, i'll be going to John Flynn for sure.

Hi,id have to agree with you all..John flynn is a great hospital..staff fantastic..very caring..and as Heidi said beautiful views..I too never had to use the nurse call button..if anything I wanted them to go away as it felt like they were always in my room lol..went there for my band and again for the band removal and will visit again on the 10th of oct for the sleeve..hope that helps..oh Dr layani is a card..very friendly and a tad sexy with is french accent..his staff lovely as well gotta love Mel any way hope that helps....

I remember when I was in the waiting room on the day of my surgery and the other patients and I were talking about who was having what surgery and by whom and a few people said they had seen Dr Layani before.

One older gentleman said "He is a really snappy dresser that French bloke!".

I felt uber daggy everytime Dr Layani came to visit me in hospital after my surgery. And his accent! I wish I was French...
