Hi Stewart and welcome...

Lovely to hear from you and to hear that you are doing well.

There are others of your compatriots on the site....if you ferret around through the diaries section you may find them.

Hope your rest and recuperation continues to go well...

Hi Stewart,

Welcome it's really nice to meet you. Congratulations on your loss so far great job.
Stewart I wonder if you could help me. I have a cousin in the UK that would love to have the sleeve done. She has asked if I knew if it was avaliable on the NHS. I don't know the answer to that question but thought that maybe you may have more of an idea than I about it...

Anyway Welcome again.

Andrea

hi, my names stewart, i had the gastric sleeve done on the 11th feb. 2011, im on fluid stage still at the moment but feeling good, still a little sore,

my heaviest was 34 stone 11lbs, (487 lbs - in july 2010), i now weigh 30 stone 11lbs ( 437 lbs), so its going down, slowly but surely, and its early days and i have to change my life, my eating habits, my whole mind set over food and exercise, my gastric sleeve is only a tool , i need to think a lot more for the rest of my life,
its time to change direction and be a LOSER.

i also have a website with a blog on there as well, and previous weights, its a site for me to put down how i feel and for other people to look at and get insperation hopefully and help and support, we all need support, losing weight is a daily fight,

thank you all and i wish you all the best in whatever stage of your journey you are on.

stewart
