| I was Nil By Mouth for the first 24 hours, then Days 2, 3 and 4 fluids, started on pureed diet Day 5.
I stayed on pureed foods until Day 28, then 2 weeks on soft diet, before starting to introduce normal foods.
Remember all surgeons have different requirements. | |

| Hi there,
I was on fluids for 2 full weeks and then went to mushy pureed foods for another 2 weeks. That month was hard but I believe sticking to those post op instructions have been crucial to my problem free recovery so far.
