| Lol - oral thrush is quite common, especially in babies. NOT (necessarily) from doing you-know-what orally. ;P | |

| I had this and also had a variation in my taste buds. There were a number to things that i really liked prior to the op and then i just didn't want them as the thought of the taste was not inviting. One of those things was milk and I was a real latte girl. It does subside and/or go away as mine did after a couple of months. I put it down to not having many solids and not eating that much either. It may also be the residue of anesthetic (but don't know this as fact). B | |

| Mmmm... I experienced a funny taste a couple of weeks ago. Initially I put it down to using a different brand of coconut milk in a chicken curry that I make.
When it hung around for a few days, & changed the taste of everything I ate I began to wonder.
Never did come up with an answer, but it did go. Sorry I'm no help, but will be interested to hear how you go with it. I only get intermittent reflux, so what Sue said makes sense.
Are you taking any reflux meds?

| Ssjad - To be honest probably not - I probably am only having an intake of around a litre a day and this includes all types of liquids/yoghurt etc
I didn't even think that fluids would affect...so thank you :)

| The only thing that stopped this for me was to get my fluids up to a much higher level... are you drinking enough? | |

| Ok all you lovely people who have 'been there done that' could you please shed some light on why I constantly have a horrible taste in my mouth.....I mean I am chewing gum now as I am sure my breath is not the nicest either...
My tongue is not 'fuzzy' as I brush my tongue when I do my teeth, use mouth wash and it is still here.....
Today is 4 weeks since my surgery...
Thank you | |
