I have just received my letter for the estimated consultation and anaesthesia fee in the mail. $2156.00
It notes underneath:
I understand this is an estimate and is subject to variation.
Does that mean that I could be out of pocket more? Or this is how much they are going to charge me but it could be less.
Can anybody clarify this at all?? What are other people experiences in terms of the anaesthetic estimates against the actual fees?
The reason I ask is that I've just taken out a loan that will just cover the sleeve and the anaesthetic, I'll be paying for the rest out of savings... I'm not sure if I can afford any excessive surprise bill.
