| Thanks everyone! I only had it after I have first bm. That must of unblocked it all! I will give my surgeons office a call Monday just to make sure it's all ok. I don't want to start taking any drugs to stop it in case I get constipated | |

| Diarrhoea is very normal at that stage, particularly if you did a swallow test. I had it 3 weeks due to a couple of those tests. Make sure to stay hydrated and call your dr if unsure. Xx | |

| Oh that is not fun :( I figured mine was due to the op, gastrograffin test etc
After a few days I realized it was due to my metformin for my diabetes. Luckily my sugars have been great (happy dance) and I stopped the metformin. Diarrhea has gone!
Maybe go see our GP? | |

| Not sure if it is normal but I am 11 days post op and continue to have extreme diarrhea. No nausea, or anything else.

| Hi all. I'm now 3 days post op and had a BM this morning. Since that I have had diarrheah. Is this normal? I'm still on thin fluids stage so only drinking water, icey poles, Gatorade type stuff. Had a 1/3 cup of chicken broth for dinner. Now up in the middle of the night on the loo. | |
