Health Funds which one to pick

I have been looking at PHI for the Sleeve .........Date 1NOV 2010
This is what i found based on female born in 1972 single with no PHI before ..i guess it changes with personal details ...... but i think it should be roughly about the same amounts or close ..

I think you may find that for the sleeve you will need higher than basic cover, as sometimes that only covers your dr in a public hospital not private. I pay $86/month top cover HCF but I do it for a single as my hubby and kids don't need what I need and I only have hospital not extras.
You do have to wait the 12 months also but the amounts it covers are huge, ie beds, theatre costs.

I am with HIF on the goldstarter (lowest hospital cover) and it covered me no worries for the sleeve. Only had to pay my excess of $200 when admitted. I pay $22.65 per fortnight with basic extras.
