Best of luck with your op. I'm sure that it will go ahead without any undue drama, but wish you luck anyway!
Reading back over the last several posts, you mentioned that a lot of states have longer waiting times - try forever over here, as it's not available through the public system at all!
Anyhow, the wait is now near the end, so go for it.

That's good news that you got your admission check in time.
Im like you when I decide that I want something I want it then and there, I dont know how you have managed to stay sane while waiting for the surgery.

I applied for a lap band about 4 years ago with charlie gardeners then never heard anything from them so forgot all about it then I applied for the sleeve with fremantle and funnily enough the day I got my name on the waitlist for fremantle i got my appointment in the mail for charlies.

im not really a patient person im more like an I want it yesterday type lol it has been frustrating and hard but I cant affort private health and I should think myself lucky with the public system, in some states i hear its an even longer wait. x

from the time i saw the dr originally and went to see the phyc and the nutritionist etc etc all up its been about 2 years from the start of my journey to now. I wasnt so much worried about the actual waiting it is the getting to the theatre door and being cancelled again that worries me so much.

One more step closer, just rang and confirmed my booking for 6.30am monday morning and they didnt say it was cancelled so thats a good sign.....need to get over hump day lol

Thankyou so much tickledpink and maddocker I am always told to think positive about it but sometimes its hard but ill be ok and wont dwell on the what ifs.
Bali sounds great maddocker ive never been overseas but if all goes well for me three weeks after my op ill be flying off to sydney for a wedding so that will be as good as a holiday for me ive only been out of the state once before. x jodi

Jodi - I have everything crossed for you. I cant imagine going through what you had to last time, it was bad enough when it happened to me with 4 weeks to go.

Just think positive, and try not to dwell on the "what ifs" (I know that it's easier said than done).

Hi all I feel on edge today i got in from work and havnt stopped since i walked in the door Gardening housework dinner etc etc im more stressed i think that i am only 6 days away and afraid that they will cancell again more nervous about that than the op i think
