Reactions and Comments to Weightloss

(sorry Mods if this should be somewhere else I wasn't sure whether or not to put it here or the post op section).

I have recently just started getting the comments like "dont lose any more weight you're too skinny", "geez you're getting too skinny", oh and my personal favourite "you're wasting away". They dont bother me too much, as I know that these people love and care for me, and arent used to seeing me when Im not obese.

But it got me wondering do these types of comments bother you?

I handle the negative ones better too, when people say things to me like "you look great" I cant help myself and instantly reply with a negative comment about how many rolls I have left, or my excess skin - much like you.

Its funny what hits a nerve, I seem to be able to handle the negaitve ones better now, but the "you look great" ones always stump me.

The "don't lose any more" comments tend to confuse me though, as I personally see plenty of rolls of flab still...and am not 19 bmi so really it shouldn't be a problem if I did lose more, so why do people say it is..all too confusing! So realy what do they mean....is it just cause they are not used to seeing us smaller..??
