i would encourage you to read everything in the FAQ section at the top of each page.
all the techno questions you might have are answered there.
tickers are part of your signature.
if that is confusing, somewhere in the post-op november sleevers are the same instructions, written in a different way.
also check that in your profile preferences the box is ticked for allowing BBCode and attaching a signature
