| Kazmac, there's something else to consider.
I became lactose intolerant for a while after the op, and I know others have too.
So if you're having lots of milky stuff, that could be causing the diahorrea.
If you can, ease up on the dairy and see if it makes a difference.
But I'm happy to tell you that this did settle down after the first few months, and that intolerance is no more!

| I posted in the July 2011 sleevers thread a few days ago about this, it took 10 days for me to be able to go (today I finally went thank God!) but I did have a couple of urgent feelings last week. I need to start adding benefiber to everything which I haven't been doing because it was awful not being able to go for so long :-) | |

| Don't stress, this will pass after a couple of weeks. I was the same and then went through a stage of constipation for a couple of weeks. I am 7 weeks post op and everything is working fine after the first month was over.

| Hi All
Can I ask if anyone who has been newly sleeved (I am one week post op) is having trouble in the toilet dept? I don't go for a couple of says and then it is lots of gas and diarherra (sp) and having to go like 'right now'. This is okay while I am at home but is not going to be great back at work next week. Today I took a gastro stop as I had to go and do things and thank goodness it worked. Is it just because I am not eating anything with fibre in it? Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated :)
