| Hi Emmy. I was done by Dr Taylor in Sydney at Concord which is public. The Dr's have scheduled days which they operate at the public hospital and you get your surgery date through your surgeon not through the Hospital. Hope this helps.

| Hi Everyone, I'm interested in having weight loss surgery. I've made and appt with Dr. Leong in Adelaide. The only thing is that I dont have top level PHI. My PHI will only cover me if I have the surgery done in a public hospital. I'm pretty sure from what I've read and heard that Dr Leong does operate out of the Lyell mac, I'm just not sure if I'll have to go on the public waititng list or not? I'd really like to have the surgery done in late january while I'm on holidays and think I'd be a little devo about having to wait any longer than that! Hope you can help!  | |
