The staff at John Flynn are first rate, from the pre op to the time you go home. I must tell you I was very very nervous but they made me feel safe all the time. Currently lost 23.5kg,s since starting pre op diet. 11kg's post op!

He has been great to deal with, so easy to talk to. All the staff there have been great actually. How were the staff at John Flynn?

Dr Layani did my sleeve on the 11/10 at John Flynn and I feel fantastic!!!

John Flynn Hospital was good.,staff was fantastic and yes i had a private room, with a great view too

i was sleeved on a friday and i went home early sunday morning....although i could of went home saturday, i was feeling that good

Thanks Buck. Wow...you are doing sooo well. Gives me a bit more confidence. I'm terrified about the surgery. I had a lap band 18 months ago and it failed. Will keep waiting for APRA

Hi there,

This forum has been so helpful. I am going for my first three consultations next Tuesday. Although I have a healthy dose of respect for what I'm about to go through, I can't wait to be sleeved.

My BMI is 42 and after many many failed attempts to loose the 50kgs I've gained over the last 10 years, this really is my last resort. I'm really grateful for the honesty you've all shared in this forum. I've cried and nodded in empathy at some of your posts. I'm turning 30 in a few weeks and have a family who love and need me to be around for a long time (and happy).

I look forward to hopefully sharing my success with you over the coming months.

I'll be seeing Dr Layani at John Flynn Private Hospital on the Gold Coast.
