| Hi Shelly25,
i have a year or 2's in the cupboard...... and they were great!!!
the recipe's are easy, and very thought out.....
and the hints are great. they are aimed i think more at type 2's and pre diabetics, but type 1's can get a lot out of them too.
this is where i first heard of pumping....
there are a lot of information in them, and most of it is up to date.... and very helpful.
the problem with diabetes is that if you like food, both types are very hard to manage.
i am type 1, don't drink soft drinks, juice, shakes... any thing with carbs, can't eat anything wiht nuts, bananas, onion or soy.... so no junk or lollies..chocolate, cakes, baked goods, or most processed foods... ahve soy products, or nuts......... sooooo not fair!!! lol looooove cake, and make a great one every now and then, but costs a fortune, and i have a small slice and through it out....... and still i make a great impression of the side of a barn.
