| There is provision on the form to apply for the release of super to repay someone who has lent you the money to pay for the surgery. You might have to say that. Cheers - Carrie | |

| As far as I am aware all those who have applied AFTER paying for it have been knocked back. they say seeing you found the money to pay for it you do not need the release. I know quiet a few people appealed this all had no success.
So if somebody has now had any success doing this it would be good to know.

| Hi everyone,
I am 6 weeks post op but didn't get a chance to apply to APRA before as my date of surgery was scheduled very quickly. I am now applying to APRA after paying for the surgery myself.
Does anyone know if there is a time limit in which to apply in retrospect? I plan to have all my paperwork in order by the end of this week and get it sent off, but I'm now panicking that I may have left it too late. I can't find anything about this on their website.
Thanks | |
