I am an Accredited Practicing Dieititian working in Warrawong. I specialise in helping people get ready for surgery, or people who have had surgery but are in need of some extra support.
For a number of years now, I have promoted the non-diet approach to weight management through the Am I Hungry? Mindful Eating courses and have seen many people start to change their relationship with food and improve their quality of life. I added the Mindful Eating for Bariatric Surgery to the courses I offer because I was starting to see a number of people for whom their surgery had not been easy or successful and they were still struggling.
The course is offered either one-on-one, or in a small group setting, in my office, over 8 weeks. Each session is around 90 minutes long. Supporting materials are supplied with the course.
