St John of God Murdoch

I can see posts for others but not SJOG Murdoch.

Is there TV? Internet? Is the staff nice? Are the rooms ok?

TV - yes, limited channels.
Internet - no
Nursing care - exceedingly poor
Rooms - OK (first time I went there was in 2009 for nothing related, and my room smelt of urine)
Communication between staff - exceedingly poor

Someone I met recently (in nothing related) who has worked not only in clinical nursing areas, but also in educating nursing students had also been a patient at SJOGM and also found it deplorable.

I have had a few experiences with SJOG Murdoch; my son was born there, he was also admitted at 2 years for surgery and I had my sleeve back in July - also a few trips to Emergency.  I have had good experiences every time, only 2 occasions when nursing staff weren't the best  - and they were both on night shift - but all in all I had good experiences.
They do have Wi-Fi now - TV is basic.. I put a few movies on my Ipad and took those to while away the hours.
Rooms in the newer section are nicer than original hospital.
