Its relatively new in Australia i believe. If all goes to plan i will be one of the first 6 in Melbourne to get the sleeve with the robot.

Hi Wenchiepoo , It has been very fast, i had my first consult on March 26 and its been full steam ahead from then because i am hopefully getting sleeved with the surgeons using a robot and that was the dates they were doing it.

Hi all, I have been reading your stories and thought it was time to join.
Im from Melbourne and I am booked in for a gastric sleeve on April 13th. Im excited and nervous all in one as everything has gone so quick from my first consult to surgery date.
I started optifast yesterday (not the nicest of things to have) for the next 12 days.
I am 35 years old, 152 cms tall and currently weigh 97 kgs with a BMI of 42.
