| Thank you Tara. I haven't been on it as much as I would like. Been busy at work and all, but nice to meet you. Cheers, Simone | |

| Hi Baliunset, Thanks for your welcome, enjoy your get together tomorrow. I am sure there is nothing better than first hand face to face info. Look forward to learning more...mostly browsing topics to educate myself on any unexpected issues with the sleeve. | |

| Hi Sim
Welcome to the forum. There is a wealth of information here. I have positively been answered every question I have. Tomorrow I am going to my first group meeting and actually talking to other people on this forum who have experienced it first hand. | |

| Hi all,
Been having a wander around the website. Good to be able to see things from a patient perspective. I am due to have my sleeve on 6th November. Nervously excited. My Surgeon is Dr Lockie. Any feedback welcome??? Currently 100kg...I have done the yo yo thing forever and have been hefty since Grade 4 / 5 primary school.
Had success a number of times, but not long term. Now 47yrs old and its just time. I am so tired of being hungry. Highest weight 106kg in Nov 1999 Lowest weight 59kg in Nov 2001
Now aiming for the middle of the road of 65 to 68kg
Cheers, Sim | |
