| I went to see Dr Brancatisano today after an 8 week wait for an appointment.
From past posters I assumed I would have to wait about 6 weeks for a surgery date and I was wrong. He is booked out 2 months in advance! I was so disappointed. The earliest date I could get was late July, early August. I told the doctor I have already paid for an overseas trip in September and wanted to be well and truly healed by the time I left, so would have to wait until after September.:(
Well he left his office and came back with May 24th 2013!! 10 days away!
I have so much to do till then, blood test, liver ultrasound, barium test! All have to be done with fasting.
I am so lucky, so no whinging from me.
Today I weighed in at 109kg. In a months time I should be well under the 100 mark. I havent been there for 26 years! and by the time I go on my trip I should be 20kg lighter. The doctor said I should lose about 40kg by xmas....I can hardly believe this, my life will be so different.
Its a lot of money to spend on myself, but I figure i dont have any weight related diseases yet but will have soon if I dont do something now. Turning 50 next year will be so much better healthier and slimmer
Going off now to read all the posts from you all with your good advice and tips.
Thanks....the countdown is on for me. | |
