| Wow what an inspiration!! Made me cry. If only more people were encouraging like that it might make such a difference, instead you only ever really listen to the haters. I am sitting here recovering from my own treadmill walk (sooo wish I could run!!!! BOOBS!!!) I have not started walking in the streets yet as I have too many bad experiences from past efforts. The looks, the laughing, calling out.............
I have printed out the blog and intend to stick to the wall in front of the treadmill.

I had a mate at uni that wanted to change his weight he was abought 250kgs he would walk around the block and people would drive past and harrass him for no reason made me sick to my stomach. Good to know there is the other side too.
I've had this happen to me before, most notably as a teenager on the way to Schoolies when we were pulled over. Looking back I can honestly say that those experiences had quite a significant effect as a vulnerable teenage girl and led to some really poor decisions to try and compensate. I am really curious as to what goes through a person's mind to cause them to go out of their way to abuse a complete stranger on the street??
