Hi letitbe, that's very exciting for you! Cup day is just around the corner.

You may already know, there is a pre op and pos op section on this forum and I know optifast is well covered. Also if you look at Oct and Nov on The Sleevers Monthly also heaps

Hi Mel,

how are going on the opti? I have coped quite well and been surprised that I am not hungry!

although I have been quite tired, and had headaches and upset tummy about day 3 or 4.

I was called by the hospital today and have to be there at 6.30am the hospital is an hour away from my home so it will be a early start.

I too am booked in for SG on Melbourne Cup!! How exciting!! :D It's going to be the start of the rest of our lives :D Good Luck & Best Wishes. Very interested to hear what your going through post-op.

I had my surgeon appointment on Monday and I am booked for the 6th Nov Melbourne cup day!!
I started opti on Monday also!

So its full steam ahead. I am so happy.
