yep heaps of us have!

i travelled over 2 hours away to have my op in wagga wagga. I drove myself over the night before and stayed in a motel. When I left hospital my parents drove my hubby over to collect me and my car in the carpark!

It didnt worry me at all and the travelling after the op was fine I had no problems- same with follow up App's coming to Wagga was a good excuse to go shopping!

sorry if this is wrong section still finding areas. but I think it is general????

Ok so I am 99% sure on doing the sleeve but my dh needs a couple of surgeries done 1st that must be a priority so it will be a while b4 i am even seeing a dr. my hope is within 6 months tho. DH doesn't have a date for his op yet. (tonsils).
My biggest concern is that I will have to travel I live in Jindabyne so it would be canberra or sydney for me. I am looking into dr taylor in sydney adventist as I have family close to there. I have also had other ops at this hospital

Has anyone else had the sleeve away from home. How did you cope with follow ups?
