Band to Sleeve - Public Patients in Perth

Thanks Sue, i will ask about charlies, When I had my banding I went there but they said I had to loose 10 kilos before they would do it, Right and if I could loose 10 kilos I wouldnt have wanted the banding done :-)

Hi i had my sleeve doe as public patient through Charles Gardenier hospital had the surgery at Osborne Park Hospital. As far as i know they are not taking any more people on their list but you could check this out for yourself i have one friend who has waited 2 1/2 years before she got her first appt earlier this year and is now awaiting another appt to get a date so as i said best to ask your GP if Charlies are still doing it or not Good Luck

hey there, hope all goes well for you but as far as i know you cant get the sleeve as a public patient in wa, i could be wrong though. most docs take the band out for free.

Who did you band OP ?

Is there a doctor in Perth that does the sleeve as a public patient and what costs are to be expected for the surgery?
I would be getting my band removed - but from what I understand, I will have to wait a few months before getting the sleeve done after removal.
