I know a few people who have been sleeved although not sure if they are bi-polar, they are work buddies and i'm very close to a few of them so i'll ask them...

Hey sweetie:)
Thanks for dropping in on this topic. I will be checking with the surgeon when I go later this month for the first consult, and hoping to hear positive things as apparently he's sleeved people with bipolar before. I've heard a couple of negative things but that's only 2 so I want to be more informed on this aspect before going under the knife, although I've pretty much decided I will if the program I'm on doesn't have me on a good track in 3 months I have set myself.

Best wishes with your op and beyond....

Hugs,
J:) x

Many thanks,

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone who has Bi Polar been sleeved?

Am very interested about ANYTHING good or bad you have noticed post op. My condition is very well managed, but i am afraid of any consequences which may rock my overall smooth sailing boat??

If people find it too personal to post pubically, a PM would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
J:) xx
