| Over the last 3 weeks I've been eating all sorts of random goodies and junk foods. I havent been able to get near scales at all until Wednesday. I was terrified that I'd put on weight... and if I did, it WAS deserved.. only to find I'd still managed to lose 500g.
Oh the joys of walking.... and being vigilent with the recording. It's one thing that's helping to keep me on track this time.

| I have had gains over my journey, I used to worry about them early on, now I don't. You will be used to the ups and downs. I gained 700 gms last week But thats now gone and a bit more and its not my weigh in day again until Monday | |

| Thanks, everyone. I guess I'll just go with todays weight. Hopefully next week will be a very big loss then! | |

| I probably weigh myself 2-3 times a week, but have Saturday morning as my official weigh in day, whatever it says on Saturday is what I go with for the week. the others are just cause I can't help myself. | |

| I record whatever I weigh on my weigh in day, which is Monday's. I know the gain is usually only fluid related, so I don't change my ticker! | |

| Well knowing you like I do Carrie . . . well let's just say that speaks for itself.
(And secretly I weigh myself every day. I ignore the numbers if they aren't what I want to see and pay attention if they are good! But I only record every week.)
I think someone here said recently:
"I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it!" How true and great is that.

| As I've mentioned before, I have recorded my weight on the same day every week during my weight loss.
It used to be Monday, but now I've changed it to Friday because I am more consistent in correct fluids and so forth during the week. I seem to forget about it when out and about during the weekend, and this can effect (negatively) weight loss.
I've also kept a monthly total. Doing it daily just does your head in I can promise!!!

| Hi Ssjad
I think I'd use whichever one is most consistant with the rest of the week, maybe check again tomorrow to see if today was just an aberation. But then I'm a daily weigher and recorder. It doesn't do my head in at all, I know that whatever it says day to day, it is still going in the right direction overall. I'm just interested to see what it's doing each day and compare it to what I'm eating & drinking.
Cheers - Carrie | |

| I agree with Map, id stop weighing yourself every couple of days. Your body can flucturate so vastly. For example, this morning i am 3kgs lighter than i was 2 days ago. Now we KNOW there is no way i have lost 3 kgs in 2 days BUT, obviously something is going on. This week i have flucturated so bad. But we are back on the down so yay lol
As for updating, id only update it fortnightly, that way you KNOW it is accurate. KWIM?
Good luck | |

| I would chuck the scales out and don't worry!!! LOL... Don't get stuck to the scales... it will do your head in! Weigh yourself once a month if you need to.... but other than that... just keep on eating well and doing weigh bearing exercises and the weight will come off!

| Okay all... Today is my official weigh day, and I weigh 1.4kg MORE than two days ago. I'm tossing up whether to stick with my 'official' weight for my update, or enter the lower weight (which I was at for a few days).
What does/would everyone else do?
