| Hi simallyher,
It concerns me that you are still having significant pain after 6 weeks post-op. Normally this is the time when the majority of people have fully healed after major surgery. Have you seen your actual bariatric surgeon for a recent follow up appointment? While I have the utmost respect for GP's, for any queries in regard to an operation like the Sleeve you should contact your surgeon (that's why we paid them the big bikkies!)
cheers Nini | |

| Hey, so I saw my GP first thing Monday and the vomiting didn't cause the pain in my abdo area; I am having the pain because I'm still healing, I'm still quite tender in the area even though I'm 6 weeks post-op. I feel relieved knowing what it is, I'm back on panadol to manage the pain and my nausea is now gone :D
Thanks everyone for the support and advice xx

My mum seems to think it's ache from my throwing up. It has been rather violent. I'm going to talk to my GP first thing Monday and get in contact with my surgeon.

| LOL shrinking violet - think Sim is a day out.
Hey Sim, I would call and find out what they think. I wouldn't think it is normal. Please get it checked.

| Hi,
For the past couple weeks I've been having problem with pain in my abdo area, the entire area seems to hurt when I breathe, cough, sneeze, sleep on my left/right/back. It's not just deep breathing, it's shallow breathing too that uncomfortable. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and should I just call nurse on call (since its sunday) and ask what to do?
