| Exactly 6 weeks on the nose my RHS incision was sore for. Because of the extra suturing to prevent a hernia that is done in the muscle layer, Dr Edwards advised this was perfectly normal. Not all surgeons do it, but Dr T does it as standard.

| I was still sore for about 4-5 weeks I think. When I went back to playing tennis at 6 weeks out I was all good so somewhere in there things came good. I could barely bend down and put my shoes on for the first 3 weeks. Everyone heals differently but unless you have a lot of pain that panadol doesn't help with I would say it's all perfectly normal. So once again I agree with J. This is becoming a habit J. lol | |

| Perfectly normal..
I was still feeling tender at times 6-7 weeks out.

| Hi i am 15 days post op and still feeling really tender on right side,is that normal,i bent down to help my grandaughter get her socks on and it was sore,other than that just tired. | |
